The lights are on! Spring Festival Lantern "Dragon" reappears in various districts of Chongqing

24 node lighting fixtures, including Chaotianmen Square, Niujiaotou Jialing River Bridge, Shangqing Temple turntable, Daping turntable, and Jiaochangkou turntable, are reasonably used with elements such as the Chinese zodiac sign "dragon" and Chinese knot. The traditional palace lantern craftsmanship of Zigong is organically combined with LED green energy-saving lighting fixtures such as New Year greetings, small ornaments, and luminous characters. The overall effect is harmonious and unified with the surrounding scenery, integrating distant and close range.

It is understood that this dragon lantern group is composed of palace lanterns spliced together, each of which is 1.5 meters high, together forming a 170 meter long dragon. When night falls, the giant dragon lighting is lifelike under the eyes of the audience, as if soaring in the clouds, magnificent, and the golden theme means the good luck of the the Year of the Loong.

This year, the Spring Festival lights in Jiulongpo District combine the elements of the New Year of the the Year of the Loong with the red, yellow and gold tones to beautify the important areas and nodes such as Yangjiaping Business District, Zhigang Avenue, Jiulongtan Square, and Longteng Avenue, create a distinctive tourism card in Jiulong, and stimulate the consumption of night economy.
